A few recent graffiti finds. Though someone pointed out that these are really more than graffiti, and that they shouldn't be called so. I don't really know what to call them, so if anyone has any good suggestions I would love to hear them. In the meantime, keep an eye out for a new all-Buenos Aires album coming soon.

Although not generally a big fan of this kind of public expression (much more often than not, this expression happens on a space that is not the property of the person expressing), the samples you're sharing are a clear step above much of the "tagging" found all around the world. I'd be willing to call this "street art" rather than graffiti. Maybe it is time for governments to provide public spaces for these works in the same they they provide playgrounds or basketball courts for people who enjoy those diversions.
